Hi guys so i bought a kent trouvaille, and it arrived in not so great condition. The derailleur cage is bent and going towards the spokes. I contacted walmart and they discounted 20 percent off the original price. I dont mind replacing derailleur and hanger but im unsure if the frame is also bent which makes it not worth fixing.

My first thought was getting the Schwinn Axum, but then found the Mongoose Ardor and Kent Trouvaille. I like the internal routing and Suntour forks on the Kent Trouvaille. I also like the dropper post and lockout suspension on the Axum. I'm probably leaning away from the Mongoose Ardor. I'm not sure if it would be large enough as I am 5'10". With all the add-ons this is a costly route., Kent Trouvaille good donor for bafang mid-drive kit? Looking to convert a hardtail to a mid-drive. Im set on the Bafang HD kit. Looking for a bike under $500 to make this a sub 2k build. I can get the Kent with a microshift 1x9 drivetrain for about $450. Other option are the Schwinn Axum, but I cant find my size. Any other good donors out there?
