Bg3 split screen crashing

I got hit frequently by blank screen crashes. The sounds keeps playing but it seems the GPU driver died. Upon hitting CTRL+SHIFT+WIN+B to reinit the drivers, I can hear a beep but nothing happens. If I wait long enough, like 5 mins, the PC shutsdown and occasionally generates a dump file. The dump file confirms its bg3_x11.exe.
