The Franchi is for sure the superior gun between the two and the price tag reflects that. Franchi is made side-by-side with Benelli in Italy. Stoeger does have the exact same Inertia-Driven recoil system that both the Benelli and Franchi has, but at a much cheaper price point. The Franchi has a traditional forearm and receiver while the Vinci models are one piece. The magazine tube on the Franchi is like most auto loaders that threads into the receiver. The Vinci's have their safeties at the front of the trigger guard and the Affinity is at the back (like other Benelli auto loaders).They’ll price match sportsman’s warehouse and SW has a Retay for $1249 vs BPS $1449. The Franchi at BPS is $1049 and really haven’t found anything cheaper on the sites that qualify for price match. I am aware the Franchi and Benelli are cousins of sorts and was wondering if it was worth spending the little more on the Benelli. Right now I’m leaning towards the Franchi because of the cerakote and the fact that it can take 3 1/2 shells (I know they aren’t necessary but I like the option) but I’m still very torn.
