Gsg firefly problems

2711 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Oct 12, 2016. I've ordered a new GSG Firefly - a Mosquito with a different name, which is why I posted this in this area. The SIG specs on the Mosquito list trigger pull at 14 and 7 - DA and SA. My SP2022 pull is 10 and 4.4, so I suspect I may want to lighten the pull on the Firefly.

Common complaints are: trigger sucks, inaccurate, failure to eject, failure to go into battery, mag problems and overall cheapness. Here's my experience: The first time I took it out, I put 300ish rounds through it. Slight update: There was a burr on the right rail. I hit it with a file (Lightly) and that stopped the slide locking problem. Piece of shit still doesn't run well. 1 out of every 20 or so rounds doesn't cycle correctly, but I put another 100 rounds through it. Gonna clean it again, and this will be a trade in once I figure out what I want next.The Mosquito was made by German Sport Guns, aka GSG. They import them now as the GSG Firefly. It is a **** gun. The ZAMAK slide will eventually crack and the front will fall off. GSG makes airsoft guns. The GSG-5, the MP5 in .22, is an airsoft gun with a .22 built inside it.
