My question is regarding academic heme/onc in the future to come ie, the lifestyle (work hours, daily schedule, compensation), and potential for growth. Specifically, will the field see a drop in compensation with new healthcare legislature and how will current economic trends in funding impact the field of heme/onc research?M3 here finishing up their 6th rotation.
