"Implantation dip" is a misnomer. The drop in temp between 5 and 10 DPO is due to a secondary estrogen surge and happens on both pregnant and non-pregnant charts (though FF data shows it is more likely to happen on pregnant charts). But, no, 5DPO is not too early for your this estrogen surge.
