L5p nox sensor

Aug 20, 2003 · I used my Banks iDash to see that it is a P20EE code, which means, "P20EE: SCR NOx Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1". I did a bit of research and found that there are two NOx sensors, one just after the turbo and one after the SCR catalyst. There has been a rash of the first sensor failing.

Bad NOx sensor (s) were one of the classic reasons for the "Poor Quality DEF" message. Especially 2011/12's. Many many many reports here and other forums of the NOx sensors being the cause of that message.
