Advice. TL;DR: Large home (3 floors), current router works great, except for constant 5ghz band dropouts. Would like to find a good replacement, or a fix to the dropouts. Full details below. I have had the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 for several years, and for some time now there has been a problem with the 5ghz band dropping multiple times per day.

The ".42" version is for the R7000. Which is a different router from the R7000P. The R7000P did get the netgear armor update. A couple things you can try. 1. I was able to make it work on my netgear r7000. I was at first port forwarding to 32400, but that would not work. So then I disabled the port forwarding and tried port triggering to 32400 TCP.
