Orca vs killer whale

There are three main types of killer whale: resident, transient, and offshore. Resident killer whales are the most social of the three types and are known to form large pods that can consist of multiple matrilines. Transient killer whales, on the other hand, are more solitary and tend to travel in smaller groups.
